Well, now that i have recovered from the after effects of birthday celebrations and got everything in order again i realised just how busy I’ve been recently, Trying to juggle my time between many different things it was inevitably that i would forget something (as far as memories go mine is temperamental at the best of times). In fact i forgot a couple of thing one of which was to post to my blog, Sorry readers. The other major thing was that i missed a crucial part of my product development, Well it wasn’t so much of a ‘missed’ as ‘messed up’ it was my own silly mistake and has set me back a bit but better i discovered it now rather than later. Anyway enough about that i thought i would just write this short post and let you all know that i am still here and working hard.

I thought i would give you all an update on ‘ The Big Bang and Me’ and what has happened since.

Firstly let me point out that this is not an update on the ideas that
came from the Big Bang, Those ideas are being worked on, The update
is about the cause.

The cause of the Big Bang as you know was a misguided Seagull. Well
since then it has returned, or at least one of it’s relatives has and
there are quite a few of them here being on the coast and all. Anyway
over the last couple of weeks the Gull and it’s mate have spent quite
a lot of time here and the other day I noticed that they have built a
nest. Thankfully not on my roof but on one opposite which is visible
from my office window, Now some people would like the idea of birds
nesting on or near their property but seagulls are not the cleanest
or quietest of birds but they are easily entertained or so it seems
from what i have observed.

Well the other morning I was wakened by this banging noise from
outside my bedroom window, so getting up to investigate i looked
out to see …..

Yes you guessed it a seagull, Stood by the front of a neighbours
car pecking at it. It was the pecking that had woken me, well it was
5am and at that time of morning it sounded much louder than it
would normally. It was stood trying to pick a fight with it’s
own reflection, just like most animals do when they see their
own reflection in a mirror.

(Sorry about the sound quality but it was 5am!)

 The Gull continued to parade backwards and foreward pecking and squawking at the car for another ten minutes or so.

By this time I was wide awake so I decided to have some breakfast and
do some more work on the ideas I got from the original big bang.

It started with the thought- I’ve got one of them somewhere!

You see i was sat at my desk working away on a new product when i
thought to myself, What i need is… Then the sudden realization that
i already had the tool i needed. I remembered something about a bonus
i download so i started to search my hard drive, and we all know what
happens then. You start searching and find all this stuff that you
have accumulated, Usually through downloading bonus items.

I decided to sort it all out, So i created some files on and started
wading through things dropping each item into the one of the files
that i had created. As i progressed i found what i was looking for and
a whole lot more, to be honest i didn’t realize just how much i had
or how many duplicate items i had, But on the bright side i did find
a few other tools that will come in really helpful in the next few
weeks and means i don’t have to waste time browsing the web trying to
find things.

So the work i actually got done today was very little,or so it seemed,
but the time i can save in the future by falling behind today will be
well worth it. Instead of spending time searching for something i can
now go straight to it as everything is grouped by type and in something
near alphabetically arranged. I then tested this by trying to complete
the task i started earlier but allowing less time, and guess what -
i finished with time to spare, i didn’t set out ‘against the clock’
i simply sat down and started working in my normal way with a time limit
as to how long i was going to work for, then when i finished i looked up
to find i was within my shortened limit. So not only did i get today’s
task completed but i also simplified future tasks.

I thought that i knew where things were on my PC, until today, Now i
Know what I’ve got and where it is.

When was the last time you had a good look at all the stuff you have
downloaded and thought ‘I’ll use that later’, only to forget about ?

That’s the question I’ve been getting asked recently.

I know that some of you have been wondering why i haven’t written any thing for a while, Well i had a couple of things that i had to sort out and  i had to put most other things on hold whilst i did. I’m glad to say that they are now all sorted and i even managed a few days away over the bank holiday.

So contrary to rumor i have not vanished and am not sitting on a beach with Lord Lucan and Shergar, I am here in my office still catching up on all the work that has piled up over the last few weeks, Speaking of which i had better get on with it.

You may or may not know that Website Directory Submission is quickly becoming a very popular and easy way to get quality, one way links to your website.

These kind of links are exactly what the search engines are looking for. The websites with more quality, one way links are typically the sites that rank the highest, period.

As you know multiple streams of income an integral part of Internet Marketing. If it were not for auto pilot earnings you would not make half as much from the Internet as you do. Systems that earn affiliate incomes and paid advertising commissions contribute to a large percentage of your monthly income. One of these sources of advertising commissions is Google’s AdSense program. BTW, this is not about Google’s AdSense program! Far from it in fact, this is about the fact that you are all losing a huge amount of revenue because of AdSense. When was the last time you earned over $1 for a 1 click from your paid ads? Phew !! what a week, doesn’t time fly.

I’ve just realised how long it is since i last updated my blog, So i thought I’d tell you a bit about the delay. Well it started off fine, over the weekend I’d been trying to help a fellow masterclass student with their website. Then on Monday afternoon when i was sat doing some updates on my own when my Internet connection went off in the middle of an upload so i headed for the kettle and just as the kettle was coming up to the boil it too went off as i turned to look at the kettle i noticed that everything was off – POWER CUT, so not only had i lost my Internet connection i had also lost what i was doing on my desktop, which wasn’t too bad as i had been saving it as i went along so i had only lost about twenty minutes work.

 When the power came back on after about fifteen minutes i made my coffee and went back to my office. I managed to catch up with my work ok but when i went to check my emails, No connection then when i did it was intermittent at best. After a call to my provider the problem was resolved, it was an error on their part but it took a couple of hours to get the connection back by which time i had lost the motivation to do anymore that day – so i went to the pub.

By Wednesday i was back to updating my site again only to find i could not login to my host so contacted them, who were not the most helpful of people, and got nowhere fast. That was it my mind was made up so i put the wheels in motion to transfer all my hosting to D9, something i had been thinking about for a while as i  use them also.

I sent them an email through their renowned support system to which i got a very quick and efficient response, their support really is superb. With my questions answered polite and professionally i arranged for the transfer to go ahead. Again they showed just how much they value their customers, keeping me informed throughout the whole process and there to answer any questions i may of had.

I’m glad to say the whole process is now complete and i can get back to normal.

Whilst checking my emails this morning i realised that i have been so busy over the last few days i forgot to post my blog,  Then when i did sit down to do it my mind just went blank, as those of you that follow me on twitter will know.

 So i decided to have a roam around the web looking for inspiration, well that was doing  no good at all until suddenly.   .  .  .   . . . . . . …..

There was this almighty bang on the wall beside me.  Now this is an external wall and I’m on the first floor, so after having thrown half a cup of coffee over myself and put my skin back on i looked out of the window beside where the bang was and there on the flat roof below was a seagull, Yes a seagull scraping it’s self up looking rather disorientated and some what surprised as it wobbled
around shaking it’s head, As i turned around to clean up the coffee whilst laughing loudly at what was, to me at least, A rather funny sight i was overcome with ideas.  Idea after idea was rushing through my head so quickly i couldn’t grasp any of them to work with and expand on so i quickly scribbled down all that i could and headed off to make a fresh coffee.

Upon returning to my office i sat with the list to decide which idea was the most workable and the result is….?
Well the post is about where i got the inspiration not about the idea i chose  to find out what that was you will have to wait a bit longer.
